The cast will include an ensemble of experienced local actors, and a couple of debutants, including Mary Sweeney, Henri Quinn, Seamus McCrudden, Patricia Houston, Grace Quinn, Desmond Crawford, Danny Quinn and Cronan Scanlon.

Suitable for all ages, the play will be staged on Thursday and Friday nights, but hurry, tickets are selling fast!

Play synopsis

It’s Rural Ireland 1969 and it’s the day of Mattie and Maggie Conway’s 50th wedding  anniversary. However, very few people know that the ‘happy couple’ haven’t spoken a word to each other for ten years. When the local Parish Priest arrives to surprise them and to renew their wedding vows, all hell breaks loose!! It’s just one laugh after another…..

Stand by for a night of hilarious one-liners and put-downs as ‘Nobody’s Talking To Me’ takes you on a two-hour rollercoaster of Irish comedy.

If you enjoyed “It’s The Real McCoy” you’ll love this one too!

The action is frantic and bit-by-bit we find out why communications between Mattie and Maggie have broken down.  Mattie’s eccentric sister Minnie, who has lived in the house all her life, is feeling the pressure and with the Conway’s only daughter Josephine courting Andy Walsh – best described as ‘a sandwich short of a picnic’ – the plot thickens by the minute!

The fact that Bartley O’Dowd’s wake is taking place next door doesn’t help matters either!  Add to the mix a complicated crossword, an over-used handkerchief, the appearance of an old flame and a surprise party where none of the guests talk to one another you’re in for a bellyful of laughs!

For bookings, contact The Balor Box Office on 07491 31840 or book online.
