Garda probe after coffee van damaged by fire in Bunbeg

Gardai are investigating a fire at a coffee van in Bunbeg.

The incident happened on the Harbour Road, Bunbeg on Friday the 23rd of May at approximately 11.45pm.

The fire service attended the incident.

Gardai say extensive damage was caused to the van as a result of the fire and it has not been ruled out that it may have been started maliciously.

A Garda spokesperson said “Investigations are ongoing and we are appealing in particular for dash-cam footage from that area from between 11pm and Midnight on that date. If anybody can assist our investigation with relevant information, we ask them to contact Gardaí in Bunbeg on 074-9531333.”
