Gardai are searching for two men after a Ballybofey service station was robbed last night.
Two males approached a worker at the the Barnes View Filling Station, known locally as the TSA, on the Donegal Road around 8pm and asked him for change.
However, as the garage worker opened the cash register to check the large note, the men then grabbed a bundle of cash before fleeing the scene.
It is understood the culprits managed to make off with a small amount of cash.
The garage worker was left shaken but was otherwise uninjured during the robbery.
Donegal Daily understands that Gardai have taken statements on the incident.
A Garda spokesperson confirmed “Gardaí received a report of an incident of theft that occurred at a commercial premises on Donegal Road, Ballybofey, Co. Donegal on Tuesday 27 th May 2025 at approximately 8 pm.
“A quantity of cash has been reported as stolen. Investigations are ongoing.”
