An international set of headliners and support acts are lined up for Buncrana Music Festival on 11th-13th July on the beautiful shore front site that the music festival is nationally renowned for.

Buncrana Music Festival are excited to announce they have secured international star Tom Walker to headline the main stage on Saturday 12th July supported by Chasing Abbey.

Sunday 13th July, is Irish day with the best of Irish musicians performing, headlined by Dan McCabe, joined by Gearoid McCarthy and supported by Katelin Tierney.

The festival this year will again boast two stages, using the state-of-the-art towering Festival Big Top Tent for the main stage that still gives the amazing views over the iconic Lough Swilly but also provides cover for whatever the weather throws at Ireland in July, whether blazing sunshine or summer showers you can still enjoy the amazing line up for the event and the festival atmosphere. The second stage will be showcasing local DJ, musicians and dancers’ talent and supporting the family friendly activities during the day.

This year the festival has an extended camping and motorhome site. The family friendly festival has daily pre-gig activities to keep everyone entertained along with local music artists popping up to entertain in the festival grounds at the stunning Shore Front in Buncrana.

This unrivalled music programme is on offer alongside the warmth and welcome that Buncrana and Donegal provide, with vibrant local hotels, bars and accommodation options, and a range of stunning restaurants and family cafes all at close hand to the festival site, as well as onsite refreshments and catering including a bar. Connectivity with local transport options makes the festival easy to travel to and from.

Festival organiser wishes to highlight that the limited Early Bird tickets are being snapped up fast offering a great opportunity to buy the festival experience in an affordable way. The festival now in its 8th year has this year again attracted international acts alongside showcasing local talent. We guarantee a warm welcome and lots of fun, and we have created an affordable and top-notch music line up for this year’s event, whilst also supporting local new acts.

Event organiser Barry Doherty would like to take the opportunity to thank the main sponsors who have supported the festival each year through the good and difficult times enabling the event to build to be one of Ireland’s most valued music festivals. The local main sponsors include Tank & Skinny’s, Braw Coffee, Safetech, Brennans Pharmacy, Restex, Apple Green, Bizzprint, Lynch Metals, Inishowen Engineering, Postal Pickup, Pizza Max, PK Wholesalers Ltd.

“We would also like to thank all the other businesses who support the event by purchasing ticket bundles for their staff.

“In addition Buncrana Music Festival would like to acknowledge that the festival is supported by The Department of Rural & Community Development, Donegal Local Community Development Committee, Inishowen Development Partnership and Donegal Council Council, through grant aid received under The European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) through Irelands CAP Strategic Plan 2023-2027. Through which core funding makes the event possible.”
