Internationally renowned guitarist, Muireann Bradley, will join expats from all over the world in Ballybofey this weekend for the Navenny Street reunion.
The special event will take place over Saturday and Sunday with a wide range of free activities and entertainment planned. The street will be partially closed off for the celebrations.
Events will include an opening and memorial ceremony at 2pm tomorrow in the ‘Spout Yard’ with a host of local musicians providing the entertainment .
One of the highlights of the weekend, no doubt, will be a special performance by world-famous guitarist, Muireann Bradley, on Sunday. A valued member of the community, her mother, Breda, was reared on the street and her grandmother, Noreen Logue, has spent all of her life there.
There will also be various stalls and exhibitions over the weekend.
