A free event being held in Rathmullan later today will showcase some of the magic of the fairies.
The Lá Bealtaine folklore celebration event, hosted by Rathmullan Tidy Towns, will celebrate the arrival of Summer, with some great family fun on show.
There will be some fairy-themed music, stories, and some arts and crafts fun as well.
And of course, there will be a few fairy cakes available for snacking on.
Any little ones who wish to get dressed up in their fairy best are more than welcome to do so.
The event gets underway this afternoon, Sunday the 1st of June, at 2pm at the Pier Sheds, Rathmullan Beach car park.
