One woman was taken to hospital after a road collision in Milford yesterday morning.
The incident happened shortly before 11am on the R245 at Loughnakey.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene for a number of hours with traffic in the local area being diverted.
The crash was the second serious collision in the span of 24 hours in the Milford area.
Just five kilometers away, 74-year-old Susan Hamilton was killed in a two-vehicle collision on the Bunlin Bridge just outside Milford on Saturday evening.
The popular mother-of-four was killed in the collision, which was between a van and a car.
A man aged in his 50s, believed to be the driver of the van, was also taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Head of the Garda Road Traffic Corps in Co Donegal, Inspector Sean McDaid, has appealed for any witnesses to the fatal crash to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 7.15pm and 7.45pm are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
