Gardaí are appealing for information after a burglary in Killybegs.

The incident was reported in the area of Tullidon Wednesday the 28th of May between 3.20pm and 3.30pm.

A rear window of the property was smashed in order to gain entry. A bedroom within the house was ransacked but nothing is believed to have been stolen.

Gardaí believe it’s possible that the intruder/s were disturbed.

A spokesperson said: “We appeal to anybody who may have been in that area between 3pm and 4pm with a dash-cam to make the footage available to investigating Gardaí. Should anyone have observed any suspicious activity, vehicles or people in the area, we ask them to contact Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530.”
