The Neuro Diverse Football Club (NDFC) will be hosting summer camps for kids in south Donegal next month.
Starting on Monday, July 7, they will run at Inver Community Centre until August 11.
The NDFC organisation provides children of all ages and abilities an opportunity to develop their social, emotional and physical skills through the platform of football.
It was founded by Tyrone man, and soccer coach, Tommy Walsh. The father of a young child with autism, Tommy said he couldn’t help but notice a ‘massive gap’ in relation to football for neurodiverse kids.
His football club is open to all, but with special considerations made for children who are either waiting on assessment or have been diagnosed with a neurodivergent need.
Summer sessions will be 1pm to 1:45pm, and for any families interested in this area, please contact the Inver Community Centre on 0749736166 or at invercommunitycentre@gmail.com
