Loreto Letterkenny students to represent Ulster at Tailteann Games

Seven Loreto Letterkenny students have been selected to represent Ulster in track and field events at the annual Tailteann Games. 

The event will be held in Carlow on the 21st of June.

The Tailteann games is a schools inter provincial championship where the very best under 17 athletes from each province compete against each other.

The top two in each event will be selected to represent Ireland in the schools’ international in July.

The talented Loreto students are:

Aoife McGeehin for javelin and discus.

Maeve Doherty for the 80m hurdles and 4x100m relay.

Anya Duffy and Kathryn Davison for the pole vault.

Leah O’Gara and Iona MacGabhann for the 2000m walk.

Clodagh Gallagher for the high jump.
