The Irish Exporters Association has announced that three Donegal-based businesses have been shortlisted for the prestigious Export Industry Awards.

Atlanfish has been shortlisted in the Seafood Exporter of the Year category, McNutt of Donegal in the Sustainable Trade Exporter category and Source Civil in the High Potential Exporter Category.

The Export Industry Awards recognise excellence across Ireland’s export sector.

This year, there are 12 award categories, ranging from manufacturing to life sciences, covering topics such as sustainability and innovation.

The category winners and the 2025 Overall Exporter of the Year will be announced at the 23rd Export Industry Awards and Gala Dinner on the 3rd October 2025 at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre.

Speaking at the announcement, Simon McKeever, CEO of the IEA, said, “The Export Industry Awards are a celebration of the remarkable achievements of Ireland’s exporters. I would like to congratulate all shortlisted companies on this outstanding accomplishment. The companies have not only demonstrated exceptional innovation and resilience but have also set a benchmark for excellence in the export sector.”

The shortlisted companies will also have an opportunity to participate in the IEA Masterclass given by Trinity Executive Education on the 16th June. The Masterclass aims to support exporting companies and those who support the industry, in developing adaptive strategies for fast changing international markets.

The Awards are supported by Platinum sponsors KPMG Ireland and Trinity Executive Education, Trinity College Dublin and Corporate sponsors and partners: Ace Express Freight, Bord Bia, Bord Iascaigh Mhara, Dixon International Logistics, Enterprise Ireland, InterTradeIreland, Descartes Thyme and Moffett Automation.

Live judging will take place in early September and the winners will be announced at the Export Industry Awards Ceremony & Gala Dinner in Dublin.
