A cheque for €1,200 has been given to the Friends of Letterkenny University Hospital by the Letterkenny Lions Club.
The Lions Club raised the funds via a recent charity movie night at Century Cinemas in Letterkenny, showing classic seventies movie The Sting – as well as gathering for some food afterwards.
President of the Letterkenny Lions Club, John O’Connell, presented the proceeds to Friends of LUH Chairperson Paddy Rooney at an event this week.
Also present were Assistant Chairperson of the Friends Cynthia Fuery, and Assistant Treasurer Ivan Fuery.
