Catherine Grier of Bonagee United FC and Teagan O’Reilly of Drumbar United FC have been named in the Republic of Ireland squad for the Deaf Futsal Championships 2025.
The tournament is set to take place in Montesilvano, Italy, from Friday, 14th June to Thursday, 27th June. Ireland has been drawn in Group B, where they will face opposition in Brazil, Turkiye, and Spain. Their campaign kicks off on Sunday, 15th June against Spain.
Catherine and Teagan are set to fly out this Friday, 13th June, ready to represent their country on the international stage. The championships will feature a total of 12 women’s teams and 24 men’s teams.
