A thunderstorm warning has been issued for Donegal this Thursday, with heavy downpours on the way.
There’s a risk of localised flooding, lightning damage, and difficult travel conditions due to poor visibility throughout the day.
The status yellow alert will be in place from 7am until 5pm.
It will remain warm with temperatures expected to reach between 16 and 18 degrees on Thursday, with moderate southeasterly winds.
The outlook for the coming days will bring continued humid conditions with heavy showers and the risk of thunderstorms across the country, particularly on Friday and Saturday. Sunday is forecast to bring more dry weather and sunny spells.
