Donegal GAA has issued important traffic information for the thousands of supporters expected to travel to Dr Hyde Park, Roscommon, on Sunday.

The All-Ireland Round 3 game throws-in at 4pm and is expected to be a 20,000 sellout.

Those travelling are asked to please note the following:

A section of the N61 has been closed for construction since 19th May, between Boyle and Tulsk (see below). There will be no access through this point.

The section of the N61 between Boyle and Tulsk which is currently closed.

This would have been the direct route to Roscommon for anyone travelling through Sligo.

“Diversion routes are in place from Boyle via Frenchpark, and back onto the N5 at Tulsk,” a spokesperson said.

“Anybody travelling from the Carrick-on-Shannon direction can follow the R368 via Elphin, Strokestown, Four Mile House and onto Roscommon.

“On a normal day, this would add 5 minutes to the journey.”
