Donegal talisman Michael Murphy has been nominated for a GAA.ie Player of the Week award.

Jim McGuinness’ men enjoyed the narrowest of victories over Mayo yesterday – Murphy delivered a Man of the Match performance to secure the win.

He again led by example, top scoring for his county with 0-5, including one two pointer and one 45’.

The Glenswilly clubman has been nominated alongside Galway’s Shane Walsh and Conor Duke of Meath.

Last week, Murphy also won the Player of the Month award.

Is Murphy your Player of the Week? Vote now on the GAA.ie’s Instagram Stories.
