A man is recovering after he was beaten by a three man gang following a ‘drive-by’ beating in Letterkenny.
The man was walking in the Long Lane area of the town in broad daylight at 3.10pm on Wednesday last, June 11th, when the incident occurred.
A car pulled up alongside him and three men jumped out and viciously assaulted him.
The victim sustained injuries, none of which are believed to be life threatening in nature.
A Garda spokesperson has appealed for anybody who may have witnessed the attack to contact them.
The spokesperson said “We appeal to road users who may have been in the area with a dash-cam, to make the footage available to us. If anyone witnessed the incident, we ask them to contact Letterkenny Garda Station on 074-9167100 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
