The National Lottery has revealed that the €250 million winning ticket in last night’s EuroMillions was sold in the south of the country.
The ticket was purchased in a shop in Munster.
The mammoth prize is the largest ever jackpot to be won by any Lotto player in Ireland.
The winning numbers are: 13, 22, 23, 44, 49. The lucky stars are: 03 and 05.
Speaking to RTE, National Lottery Spokesperson Emma Monaghan has advised anyone that has the winning ticket to sign the back of it and keep it somewhere safe
Players have 90 days to claim the prize.
Tuesday’s jackpot was more than twice the €115 million won by Limerick woman Dolores McNamara in 2005.
