The Donegal Campsite in Letterkenny has said that social media posts about a ‘rave’ event are untrue and not affiliated with their site.
The campsite at O’Donnell Park at St Eunan’s GAA club hosts thousands of rally-goers each year.
However, claims of a ‘Rave Ireland’ event on 20th and 21st June have been circulating on TikTok that are in no way affiliated with the campsite.
The videos, which say the rave is coming to the non-existent “Rally of the Lakes Donegal” invites people to party at the Letterkenny campsite.
The campsite confirmed that no contact has been made regarding this proposed event.
“We’ve recently seen posts circulating about a proposed event, and we want to clarify that Donegal Campsite is in no way affiliated with this gathering,” said a statement from the Donegal Campsite.
“No contact has been made with us in relation to this event, and it has not been sanctioned or approved. As a responsible campsite, we have a duty of care to our neighbours and surrounding communities.”
