Temperatures will reach highs of 16 to 20 degrees today ahead of what will be a very hot weekend.

The day will start mostly dry across Ulster with hazy sunshine in the south. Some light rain or drizzle in the west and north of the province where it’ll be mostly cloudy.

Any drizzle in the north will clear and it will become dry with clear spells overnight. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees in light variable breezes, becoming southeasterly by morning.

Tomorrow will be very warm with long spells of sunshine, but with the chance of an isolated shower. Highest temperatures of 19 to 24 degrees. East to southeasterly winds will be mostly moderate.
