A driver has been arrested doing 174kph in a 100kph speed zone this evening.
The driver was nabbed by members of the Buncrana Roads Policing Unit in the Newtowncunningham area.
The driver was arrested and was charged to appear in court.
Gardai have appealed to drivers to slow down and keep the race in its place.
