All eyes are on Mac Cumhaill Park in Ballybofey this weekend as Donegal are set to face off against Leinster Champions Louth in their Preliminary All-Ireland Quarter-Final clash.
The last time these two sides met was in the All-Ireland Quarter-Final proper last year, where Jim McGuinness’ men ran out 1-23 to 0-18 victors in a hard-faught contest that was decided by a string of Donegal scores in the final 15 minutes.
Donegal have made it to this stage after being crowned back-to-back Ulster Champions, but still needing a last-gasp Ciaran Moore score to knock out Mayo from the All-Ireland group stage last weekend and secure their spot in the prelims.
Meanwhile Louth have kicked on again after their run to the Quarter-Finals last year, the 2025 Leinster title being a just reward for a county that has shown rapid improvements on the pitch in recent years.
Donegal boss Jim McGuinness has named the same initial team sheet for that match as he did before their Mayo matchup – however don’t be surprised if that lineup has a few changes to it come match time.
Throw-in for the Preliminary Quarter-Final is at 4pm tomorrow, Sunday the 22nd of June.
While the game is not being shown on TV, it will be live-streamed on GAA+.
