The Windyhall Road in Letterkenny will be closed in sections for the next three weeks.
The closures, from Monday 23rd June to Friday 18th July, are to facilitate essential drainage and road repairs.
Donegal County Council will be closing the Glencar Road to Long Lane section of the route from 23rd June 2025 until 11th July 2025.
The Long Lane to Kilmacrennan Road will close from 7th July 2025 until 18th July 2025.
Sections one and two will not be closed at the same time.
Alternative Routes:
Section 1 Diversion: Traffic diverted via Long Lane L-5914-1, Circular Rd L-1007-0 and Glencar Road L-1174-2/3.
Section 2 Diversion: Traffic diverted via Kilmacrennan Road R229-1, Circular Rd L-1007-0 and Glencar Road L-1174-2/3.
