The Letterkenny Hospital Golf Society held its most recent outing at Ballybofey & Stranolar Golf Club in beautiful conditions last Thursday.
The course is in excellent condition but as usual scoring well was tricky, with Ciaran Williamson’s 39 points enough to give him victory on the day.
John Doherty took the runner-up spot with 2025 Society captain Joe Blake in third place.
Section winners were Padraic McHugh, Hugh McClafferty and Maureen Sweeney.

Winner; Ciaran Williamson 39pts. Runner-up ; John Doherty 37pts. Third: Joe Blake 36pts.
Section One; Padraic McHugh 35pts , Eunan McGlynn 34pts.
Section Two; Hugh McClafferty 36pts, Kevin Mills 34pts.
Section Three: Maureen Sweeney 35pts, Colin McBhaird 34pts.

Society Captain Joe Blake thanked the Ballybofey & Stranorlar Club for hosting the outing, commenting on the excellent condition of the course and the hospitality in the clubhouse.
The next outing will take place at Greencastle Golf Club on Friday 1st August.
Members are reminded that the Society is hoping to arrange an outing to the Slieve Russell Hotel Golf and Country Club in September.
