Portsalon’s Aoife Browne, 18, selected for Ulster women’s golf team

Portsalon Golf Club’s talented Aoife Browne (18) has been selected for the Ulster women’s interprovincial team to play in Knightsbrook next month. 

Aoife (main pic) is no stranger to the Interpros, having previously been selected on the girls teams.

All the members in Portsalon wish Aoife and her teammates the best of luck in their matches. 36 holes are played each day against each of the other provinces. Foursomes in the mornings and singles in the afternoons.

Congratulations to the Portsalon Mixed team who won their match on a tie hole against Omagh Golf Club. Thanks to all in Omagh for their wonderful hospitality.

The team now go forward to meet Dunfanaghy Golf Club in round 4.

Best of luck from Lady Captain Roisin McCormack to the Máire O’Donnell team who play Letterkenny Golf Club in Portsalon on the 29 th June at 2.30pm

Mr Captain’s Day for Ladies

Friday 27 th June is the day for Mr Brendan Cullen’s prize to the ladies. The timesheet will open on 20 th June.
