Curious locals in the west of the county flocked to Donegal Airport yesterday to try to get a close up view of a luxury private jet.
The Pilatus PC-12 NG touched down at Carrickfinn at around noon from Brussels. According to the airport, it was carrying a number of Belgians who came to Donegal to play golf.

“A perfect landing for a perfect getaway,” Donegal Airport stated on its social media pages.
“This elegant PC-12 from Brussels just landed at Donegal Airport, ready for some rounds of golf and stunning Irish scenery. We’re thrilled to welcome our Belgian visitors to the beauty of Donegal and the incredible golf of the Northwest”.
The Swiss-made aircraft carries six passengers and can cost up to €5M to buy, depending on age.
