Ballybofey jockey Kyle McHugh delivered his first victory of the season on Thursday at Nottingham aboard the Michael Keady-trained ‘Renesmee’.

Renesmee, a 2/1 shot, clinched the pricedup.bet ‘Hands N Heels’ Apprentice Handicap, part of The Racing Excellence Series, by a short head.

This win marks a significant milestone for McHugh, the son of Aine and Shane McHugh, who is celebrating his first win in 20 rides this season.
