Donegal Local Development CLG is an integrated local development company established in 1995.
We deliver multiple external funded programmes to the Donegal community. Donegal Local Development CLG (DLDC) are now inviting applications for three roles within the Community Development team. Details of the three opportunites are sumarised below:
- Community Connector will engage with communities across Donegal, supporting those hosting people seeking international protection, fostering inclusivity and strengthening relationships. A recognised and relevant Third Level qualification and / OR equivalent relevant training and related professional experience. A minimum of 3 years direct experience working with marginalised individuals and/or communities impacted by poverty, exclusion and disadvantage. Fixed Term contract of 18 months subject to funding, based in Letterkenny.
- Food Equality Coordinator will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating a range of community-focused activities and training programmes that address food inequality across Donegal, in collaboration with regional and cross-border partners. A recognised and relevant Third Level qualification and / OR a minimum of three years’ experience. Must possess strong knowledge and proven working experience in the community, with a particular emphasis on health promotion. The role is fixed term and funded for a period of two years.
- Social Enterprise Officer will support the delivery of the Social Enterprise programme of activity for DLDC. A recognised Third Level qualification in Business Management / Community Development and /OR minimum of three years’ relevant work experience in the area of Community Development with demonstrable detailed knowledge and experience of social enterprise. The role is fixed term and funded to 31 December 2028.
