It turns out that we’re far from the only ones that love Donegal.
Donegal County Council has announced that 2024’s #LoveDonegal Day was the most successful in the campaign’s history.
The social media campaign has urged Donegal natives to share everything good about their county with the rest of the world, showcasing the very best that Donegal has to offer and using the hashtags #LoveDonegal and #DúnnanGallAbú.
Figures released today by the Council on #YourCouncilDay now reveal that the 2024 campaign reached an astonishing 99.5 million people across all social media channels in just a single day.
That surpasses the 85 million mark achieved by the 2023 campaign, and shows the worldwide love many have for our wee county.
Not bad work for a county of 167,000 people.
