TikTok sensations Tadhg and Derry Fleming were welcomed to Castle Park last week as they presented Buncrana Hearts FC with a €2,000 prize!
The funding was from the Re-turn “Small Town, Big Difference” competition.
Tadhg and Derry spent over an hour meeting 100 children from the club for selfies and plenty of football fun.
Buncrana Hearts FC was one of ten finalists in the campaign, which invited schools, clubs, and community groups to showcase the meaningful impact they are making locally by fundraising through the Deposit Return Scheme.
The club proudly operates a scheme where bottles and cans can be deposited at the grounds to be recycled for funding that goes directly back into the community.
