Young man arrested following damage to cars in Ballybofey

A man in his twenties has been arrested and charged after vehicles were damaged in Ballybofey at the weekend.

Gardaí received a report of criminal damage to two cars at Navenny Street between approximately 10:30pm on Sunday and 12:10am on Monday.

“A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested under the Public Order Act and subsequently charged to appear before Sligo District Court at a future date,” a garda spokesperson said.
