Planners have granted retention permission for a partially subterranean pod in south west Donegal.

Gary Keegan had sought to retain the already constructed grass roof unit overlooking a lake at Croaghacullion, Glencolmcille.

Donegal County Council planners decided to grant permission subject to a number of conditions, including that it must only be used for domestic use in conjunction with the adjacent holiday cottage.
