Donegal’s newest TD, Charles Ward, will officially open his new constituency office in Ballybofey today.

The 100% Redress Party TD from Arranmore, who lives in Drumkeen, was elected to the Dáil last December.

He states that his office on Chestnut Road Ballybofey “belongs to the people of Donegal”.

“It’s a place where every voice can be heard, and every concern taken seriously. My team and I are here to help, to listen and to work hard on behalf of all the community.”

The opening at 6pm will be attended by local residents, community groups and supporters. The new office is intended to serve as a central hub for constituents seeking help on issues ranging from housing and healthcare, education, agriculture, and the environment.

Redress Party Councillors have expressed optimism about now having a stronger link to representation at a national level.

“We’ve already been in touch with many families from our County, and many more are looking forward to engaging with us, seeking assistance and raising the profile of the important work they do,” Councillor Joy Beard added.

“Supporting our community is a cornerstone of what this office stands for.”

The office will be open to the public from 10am to 5pm, Monday – Friday with walk-ins welcome and appointments available. Constituents can also get in touch via phone, email, or through outreach clinics accross the county.
