There are currently widespread water outages across parts of Buncrana due to a burst water main.

Crews from Uisce Eireann are currently at the scene of the burst main at Looking Glass Brae in the town.

Residents in parts of Ballymacarry, Luddan and Lisfannan are also being affected by the water outage.

Repairs are underway, but are not expected to be completed until 6pm.

Uisce Eireann advise that it may take between 3-4 hours after the scheduled repair time for water supply to fully return.

You can keep track of the outage at this link.
