The Windyhall Road in Letterkenny will be shut for the next two weeks.
Donegal County Council say that the closure, which is in place from Monday the 7th of July until Friday the 18th of July, is to facilitate essential drainage and road repair works.
Diversions will be in place at the Long Lane and the Kilmacrennan road, and local access for residents will be accomodated whenever possible.
Short sections of the road will be closed at a time to allow for as much local access as possible.
Donegal County Council have said that they apologise for any inconvenience due to these works.
