Organisers of the Falcarragh Summer Cup have announced that they will be hosting a special Memorial Cup in memory of Enya McMurrough.
The popular 13-year-old sadly passed away at Crumlin Children’s Hospital earlier this year.
Her memory will now continue on as part of the Falcarragh Summer Cup weekend, which is hosted by her former club, Falcarragh Celtic.
Their supporter’s club will be hosting a family fun afternoon at Ionad Naomh Fionan Falcarragh on the Friday of the 18th of July, with plenty of family fun from 3:30pm including a bouncy castle and some face painting.
At 4:30pm, the first edition of the Corn Cuimhneacháin Enya Ní Mhurchadha will take place, an astroturf soccer tournament in memory of Enya.
The tournament’s teams will consist of Enya’s friends, and all proceeds from the evening’s activities will be allocated between the Falcarragh Nursing Home and the Cloughaneely Junior Band.
All are invited to come along and enjoy the event.
