Temperatures could reach as high as 256degrees next week according to Met Éireann.
The national forecaster is expecting a return to the 20 celsius and above mark for much of the country from Monday onwards.
Peak temperatures will be felt on Friday however, with current forecasts anticipating the mercury to rise to between 20 and 25 degrees celsius nationwide.
Despite the uptick in temperatures and some fine sunny spells that are expected over the next week, there will still be a few patches of rain to contend with.
The Met Éireann forecast for Ulster tomorrow, Monday, is anticipating temperatures between 15 and 20 degrees, with some isolated light showers and cloudy conditions in the north and west.
Those isolated showers should feature for much of next week, but Friday looks to be the finest day of the lot.
Temperatures will soar to between 20 to 26 degrees with the national forecaster expecting a fine and sunny day.
