Donegal Community Games treasurer Cathal Hagan recently celebrated turning the great age of 80!
Cathal has been an integral part of Donegal Community Games for over half a century.
Hailing from Milford, Cathal is a well-known figure in the area and is always ready to lend a hand. Cathal and his late wife Kathleen first became involved with Community Games in the mid-1970s. Their family is well-known in Donegal’s sporting world, with all of Cathal’s children having participated in Community Games and represented the county at National Finals over the years.

A Milestone Birthday for Milford Man Cathal Hagan
Everyone at Donegal Community Games wishes Cathal a very happy birthday. Birthday greetings have poured in from Galway, Sligo, Wicklow, Dublin, and the Board at National Community Games, who also thanked Cathal for his significant contributions to Community Games throughout the years.
David Hoyden, CEO of Community Games, personally thanked Cathal, stating that it’s individuals like him who have truly shaped Community Games into what it is today.
