A family-run east Donegal company says it aims to create 15 new jobs over next 18 months

Mantis Cranes, and its sister firm, McMenamin Engineering, are based at Crossroads, Killygordon, and export to the UK, mainland Europe and further afield.

They said their latest expansion is driven by ‘continued business growth and strategic investment’ across both organisations.

Áine McMenamin, director of the group, commented: “The creation of these new roles is a clear reflection of our continued growth and our commitment to investing in the local community and nurturing future talent. We look forward to welcoming new team members who will help us shape the next chapter of our journey.”

With a combined heritage spanning 65 years, the companies have established themselves as industry leaders in their respective sectors.

Mantis Cranes, established 25 years ago, specialises in the hire and sale of self-erector cranes, tower cranes, luffing tower cranes, construction hoists, and lifting accessories, delivering innovative lifting solutions across Ireland and the UK.

McMenamin Engineering, founded 40 years ago, is a highly regarded provider of structural steel and cladding, known for its unwavering commitment to quality craftsmanship and engineering excellence.

“The creation of these new positions supports the companies’ ongoing expansion and reflects their shared dedication to innovation, safety, and service excellence,” Ms McMenamin added.
