Four young athletes from Donegal are bringing back gold medals after another successful weekend of competition at the National Juvenile Championships in Tullamore.
Showing the strength of Donegal’s athletics output, all four gold medals will be returning to four separate athletics clubs in the county.

Letterkenny AC’s Harry McIlwaine meanwhile took the U17 200m crown, also securing his second gold of the championships in the process.
Another multiple medal winner was Lifford Strabane AC’s Caoimhe Gallen, who secured her fourth gold medal of the championships, dominating the U19 shot put, adding to her U20 shot put and U19/U20 hammer titles.
Rounding off the Donegal successes, Cranford AC’s Caolan McFadden won gold in the U19 1500m race.
