Kildare’s Brendan Cawley is to take charge of Donegal’s mouthwatering All-Ireland Final clash with Kerry on Sunday week.
Within the past hour, Sarsfields GAA club has posted on their social media channels that their member, Cawley, has been appointed to the big game.
It will be the Kildare native’s first All-Ireland Final.
He was the man in the middle for the All-Ireland semi-final with Galway last year as well as this year’s Preliminary Round tie with Derry and the Ulster Final with Armagh.
In addition, Cawley was in charge when Donegal faced Kerry in Killarney in the National Football League back in February.
