Man arrested after alleged assault on woman in Buncrana 

A man has been arrested following an alleged assault on a woman in Buncrana yesterday. 

The incident occurred in An Grianan Park between approximately 12.20am and 12.40am. Gardaí received a report that a woman was assaulted by a man at that location. 

“We believe that someone in the area intervened in the incident by shouting and we now appeal to that person to get in touch with Gardaí in Buncrana on 074 9320540 as we wish to speak with them,” Garda Grainne Doherty said.
