Donegal Volunteer Centre, which is delivered by Donegal Local Development Clg, proudly celebrated the outstanding contributions of volunteers and community projects at the 2025 Donegal Volunteer Awards, held on Thursday last at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Letterkenny.
The 2025 Volunteer Individual Recognition Award honoured exceptional volunteers nominated by local organisations registered with Donegal Volunteer Centre. These individuals were recognised for their dedication, compassion and the positive impact they have made within their communities.
The Volunteer Project Recognition Award celebrated Donegal-based community projects that demonstrated innovation, community impact, and meaningful volunteer involvement. Projects submitted for consideration ranged from grassroots initiatives to large-scale efforts, with each one highlighting the power of volunteerism to inspire change and strengthen communities.
