Volunteers from the Sean Mac Cumhaills club in Ballybofey have dressed the Twin Towns in green and gold a week out from Donegal’s appearance in the All-Ireland Final.
Members were out on the streets of Ballybofey and Stranorlar from 5am this morning, hanging plenty of green and gold ribbons along the streets.
Local hero Oisin Gallen also features on a few posters as the Twin Towns fully embrace Sam Maguire fever.
Sean Mac Cumhaills thanked their volunteers for all of their hard work in preparing and hanging the decorations across the town – as well as some key figures who made it possible.
“A huge thank you to our incredible club volunteers who were out from 5am this morning, braving the rain to decorate the Twin Towns ahead of the All-Ireland Final.”
“We also extend our sincere thanks to Martin Harley, Tommy Gallen, and the Chamber of Commerce, Basic and local Councillors for their support and efforts in making this happen.”
“Let’s get behind the boys – the town is ready, and so are we!”
