The PSNI say that firefighters are continuing to battle a blaze at the former Foyle College in Derry which broke out yesterday evening.
The NI Fire and Rescue Service received the first reports of a fire at 7.31 pm on Saturday.
Three NIFRS appliances, including one aerial unit, currently remain at the scene fighting the fire.
Nearby residents have been advised to keep their windows closed and to bring pets indoors because of the smoke pouring out from the premises.
Motorists travelling through Derry have been reminded that the Duncreggan Road remains closed to traffic as fire crews continue their efforts to supress the fire.
