A fantastic €30,000 was raised for the Parkinson’s Ireland North West branch at the inaugural Glenveagh National Park 5K Run/Walk.

Over 300 competitors took part in the event on Friday, 27th June.

The event was organised by the staff of Glenveagh and all proceeds were in aid of Parkinson’s Ireland North West Branch who were delighted to be the beneficiary of this event.

“We are very grateful to Bernard, Emmett and all the staff for all the support they have given us over recent months”, secretary of the branch, Ann Foxe, said at the prize giving ceremony.

“This is a major lifeline for us and will allow us to continue to provide services to our members into the future. A massive thank you to all involved.”
