Homecoming announced for Donegal GAA team – win or lose!

Donegal County Council in conjunction with the Four Masters GAA and the Donegal County Board has announced a homecoming event for the Donegal Senior Football Team after the All – Ireland Senior Football final – win or lose!

The homecoming event will take place at the Pier Carpark in Donegal Town on Monday 28th July 2025.

To facilitate this event, we wish to advise all members of the public of the following:

  • The Pier car park will be closed to all vehicular traffic from 18:00pm on Sunday from 27th July 2025 to 1:00am on Tuesday 29th July 2025. 
  • On-street parking on Quay Street will not be permitted from 8:00am on Monday 28th July 2025 to 1:00am on Tuesday 29th July 2025. 
  • The areas outlined in red on the map below detail the extent areas that will be closed to vehicular traffic to facilitate the event.
  • Local access for deliveries to the back of the hotels etc will be facilitated.
