DM Waste, based in Labbadish, Letterkenny, provides services to meet every waste, refuse and recycling need, from home refuse collection to industrial waste disposal.

We are currently seeking to hire a full-time HGV Arctic Truck Driver as well as Collection Crew Operatives.

HGV Arctic Truck Driver for tanker division

Job type:     Full time/permanent

Schedule:   Monday to Friday

Requirements: 

• Minimum of 2/3 years experience
• Valid CPC Certification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Experience and knowledge of vac tankers desirable but not essential as training will be provided
• Manual handling & safe pass required but not essential as training will be provided

Collection Crew Operatives

Job type:            Full time/permanent

Schedule:            Monday to Friday

Requirements:

• Good level of English
• Must be an excellent timekeeper as punctuality is a must
• No previous experience needed as full training will be provided
• Manual handling & safe pass required but not essential as training will be provided
• Good customer service and manner in dealing with our customers
• Must have own transport

Responsibilities:

• Collecting and emptying refuse bins in a safe manner and assist the driver in carrying out their role
• Ensure that customer bins and property are treated with respect and the bins are returned to where it was removed from
• Be compliant with health and ensure safety wear is worn at all times
• Maintain written and electronic records where required e.g. – service dockets, worksheets, timesheets, etc
• Any other miscellaneous duties that may be requested of you by management from time to time
