FROM IRA GOLDMAN IN NEW YORK: Great games at New York’s Gaelic Park Saturday night.

As a prelude to the GAA-GPA clash between the 2011 and 2012 All-Stars, the NYPD GFC had a titanic struggle against the FDNY and came out on top 1-10 to 1-9, making it 3-0 for the year’s series.

Special appearance by 2012 Donegal All Ireland winning manager Jimmy McGuinness, who helped out on the sideline and gave a rousing speech at half time.

To Jim’s right is Ballybofey man Peter McCormack, NYPD manager.
