THEY may compete against each other for business, but when it comes to promoting Donegal the hoteliers of the county are doing so as one.

Representatives from our best hotels were in Glasgow at the weekend at the Donegal Live evet and selling our county to 15,000 people who attended.

And they will do it all again in Dublin later this month.

Pictures are Joan Crawford, Failte Ireland North West, Downings Bay Hotel, Leona Cronolly, Villa Rose Hotel in Ballybofey, Siobhan Barrett-Doherty Station House Hotel, Michael Naughton Clanree Hotel, Elaine Mc Intyre Radisson Blu & and Carolynne Harrison Mount Errigal Hotel.

Siobhan, secretary of the Irish Hotels Federation Donegal branch said: “This initiative came to fruition after the success of Donegal Live in Dublin last year. We were provided with a great platform to promote Donegal and all it has to offer to the Scottish market on Sunday.

“We received huge interest from the visitors who attended on the day and hopefully we can now look forward to seeing an influx of Scottish visitors this summer into our region. Donegal Live Dublin takes place on Sunday May 22nd in the Iveagh Gardens and we will be there promoting the county again.”
